Erwin Siemens started Kindersley Transport with a single truck in 1962, and has expanded this enterprise into one of the largest, most modern Transportation companies in western Canada employing 1,600 people in ten different divisions - Siemens Transportation Group Inc.

The Siemens Transportation Group Inc. now generates more than $203 million in annual revenue from truckload and less-than-truckload services through a network of strategically located service centres in Canada and the United States. Divisions include International Truckload, Less Than truckload service, International Flat Deck service, Ground Courier service, and Warehouse Distribution and third party transportation service.

Kindersley Transport Ltd. remains the most well-known company within the Siemens Transportation Group. Other members of the Siemens Group include: PMK Logistics, Edge Transportation, HWT, Quill Transport Ltd., Triangle Freight Services, Mid-Sask Ag Services Ltd., Creekbank Transport of Toronto based and Hi-Tech Express Inc. of Minneapolis, and Tiger Courier.

Tiger Courier, launched in 1984 as a regional courier providing ground service between nine points in the prairie provinces, has become one of the most aggressive ventures for Siemens. Tiger provides service to over 10,000 locations across Canada from terminals in Toronto, Winnipeg, Regina, Saskatoon, Edmonton, Kelowna, Calgary and Vancouver.
