A tireless volunteer in the areas of Health Care, the environment, and the arts, Elva Kyle has worked with the United Way both locally and nationally. She served as association president of the MacKenzie Art Gallery and chair of the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre during its regeneration in 1989. She has also occupied the post of national chairperson for Nature Conservancy, a Conservation organization dedicated to protecting endangered and threatened habitats. Past president of the Regina YWCA and an active member of the Regina Symphony Orchestra, Elva Kyle was made a Member of the Order of Canada in 1999.
