Joyce Blake's dedication to her professional career and years of volunteer service have earned her numerous awards and honours. She was director of Personnel Services at the University of Regina for several years and president of the Soroptimist International of the Americas, a federation of women's service clubs. In addition, Blake served as president of the Regina YWCA and was the first women to act as people's warden of St. Paul's Cathedral. A recipient of the “Living Legacy Award” from the Women's International Centre, Joyce Blake was invested as a Member of the Order of Canada in 1986.
