The 77 Field Battery was formed in Moose Jaw following the authorization of 10th Brigade, Canadian Field Artillery on February 2, 1920. The 10th Brigade was renamed several times over the next two decades, and its batteries were utilized on several fronts once World War broke II out. 77 Field Battery was mobilized with 3 Field Regiment.
